Medical History: A thorough interview to ascertain past and present medical and family history.
 

Physical Examination: A complete physical check including height, weight, BMI, BP, SpO2, visual acuity and color.
 

Chest X-Ray: A check for possible pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB), pneumonia cancer and other lung diseases.
 

Electrocardiogram (ECG): An assessment for heart function and rhythm to detect any cardiac abnormalities.

 

Full range Blood Tests: A series of blood tests to detect conditions such as gout, thyroid, anemia, high cholesterol, leukaemia, diabetes, hepatitis, sexually transmitted diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, as well as liver and kidney disorders.
 

Urinalysis: A test to infer the state of kidney function as well as of the urinary tract infection.
 

Stool Analysis: A test to screen for gut disorders through the testing for stool occult blood, a recognized manifestation of gut cancer and peptic ulcer.
 

Cancer Screening: A series of blood tests to detect tumour markers produced by some cancer cells through simple blood tests. Screening tests exist for liver, colon, intestine, prostate and ovarian cancers.
 

Lung Function Test: A test to determine the efficiency of the lungs and airways.
 

Audiometry: A test to assess hearing ability.
 

Pap Smear: A test to screen for cervical cancer in women.
 

Ultrasonic Examination: A variety of tests to detect abnormalities in the liver, gall bladder, biliary system, pancreas, spleen and kidneys. It also helps to detect disorders of the ovaries, uterus, bladder in women; and bladder and prostate disorders in men.
 

Gastroscopy & Colonoscopy: An examination of digestive system, to look for abnormality in the esophagus, stomach, colon and rectum, e.g. peptic ulcer, stomach and colon cancer etc.

 
GENERAL PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

Fasting No food/drinks except for plain water only. Fast from midnight, the night before the appointment. 

Clothing Wear loose clothing around arms to facilitate evaluation procedures. 

Record Please bring all the previous medical records, prescriptions and regular medicines, medical accessories like glasses and hearing aids etc.

Medications If you are taking medication or are on special dietary restrictions under doctor¨s prescription, please continue to do so. Please do not take your medication & insulin injection for Diabetes on the morning of your appointment, but bring along the medication to be consumed after blood testing is completed.  

Punctuality Please arrive in time for your appointment. Should you feel unwell prior to your health screening, please call us to inform our staff before the screening.

Female clients Due to the effect on the urine and cervical smear results, it is essential that female clients are not menstruating. Please abstain from sexual intercourse 24 hours before the procedure. Avoid the use of vaginal creams, spermicides or vaginal medications and tampon usage 2 days before the test. 

Please declare if you are pregnant as you are advised not to conduct some examinations, e.g. chest x-ray, mammogram. It is advisable to schedule your appointments for these examinations 5 days after your menstruation.

Stool collection If you are bringing stool sample from home, please collect 1 scoop of stool in the sterile stool specimen bottle issued, seal the bottle tightly and return the specimen to the lab within 12 hours.
